About us
More than 150 hectaresin the Mandimba district.
Maize, sesame and soybean in rotation, in Niassa province, with more than 50 people from the region working the land each season.
01Our farm
A farm built
season by season.
More than 150 hectares in the Mandimba district, three crops alternating across the same plots, and a team that comes from the surrounding communities. What we sell, we sowed, tended and harvested ourselves.
The farm lies in Lichimua, in the Mandimba district, in the south-west of Niassa province, beside the Lichimua River. It is a region of fertile soils and strong farming potential. Maize, sesame and soybean grow here rainfed, on what the sky gives them.
The land is divided into plots, and each plot alternates between the three crops from one season to the next. Sowing follows the start of the rains, and harvest follows the ripeness of each crop.
Through planting and harvest, more than 50 people from the region work on the farm. Hiring is local, and protective equipment is supplied by the company.
The harvest is sold on the domestic market, mostly to processing mills and local buyers. The next step is our own processing plant.
We do not plant to a calendar. We plant when the rain arrives, and we harvest when the plant is ready.
