01About us

Our farm

Our farm sits in the Mandimba district, Niassa province, a region of fertile soils and strong farming potential.

We grow maize, sesame and soybean across more than 150 hectares, with over 50 workers from the region each season. What goes into each plot depends on the rains and on the rotation between the three crops.

The harvest is sold on the domestic market, mostly to processing mills. The next step is our own processing plant.

02Where we are

On the Niassa plateau,
northern Mozambique.

We are in Lichimua, Mandimba district, in Niassa, the largest province in Mozambique by area and one of the country's most promising farming regions.

The plateau brings together altitude, regular rains and deep soils, which suits rainfed crops such as maize, sesame and soybean without any need for irrigation. The farm sits beside the Lichimua River.

04Sustainability

Caring for the soil means caring
for the people who work it.

A farm lives on what the land is able to give in the season that follows. That premise decides what we sow, how we prepare the soil between harvests and how we work with the people of Niassa.

  • People and Communities

Hiring and training in the region, with protective equipment supplied by the company.

  • Crop Rotation

Maize, soybean and sesame alternate across every plot. None is left in monoculture.

  • Responsible Management

Fertiliser and crop protection go in only when what we see in the field calls for it.

  • Long-term Growth

Expanding the area and the volume without exhausting what the soil can carry.

From the field to the
domestic market.

We supply processing industries and local buyers looking for maize, sesame and soybean. Our focus today is the domestic market, and we are moving into our own processing to add value to what we grow and widen the range we offer.
